The Aboriginal Healing Foundation provides resources discussing the effects of residential schools and community-led healing practices that have been developed by Aboriginal Peoples.
The Arctic Children and Youth Foundation provides overviews of current programs underway in Northern Canada by the foundation. These programs include Playing to Strength (engaging youth to speak about the challenges they face to a healthy wellbeing), Sivuniksarmut Niriungniqarniq (School Suspension Program), Kamajiit (Safe Communities Program), and Better Drummer Boy (Booklet for health promotion).
The Martin Aboriginal Education Initiative offers information on its education initiative, the need for this work ,and current initiatives under way to assist in bridging the gap between educational outcomes between Aboriginal Peoples and Non-Aboriginal Peoples.
